I’m Alexa, a Colorado Springs baby photographer for real moms. You want to remember every little detail of your new baby, from their chubby hands to their toothless grin. The baby phase goes by so fast and you don’t want to forget a thing. I know how fast it goes because I have 2 of my own.

When should I book my baby milestone session?

I typically book baby milestones 1-2 months in advance. I offer options for individual milestones or as part of a milestone package that can include milestones such as newborn (under 14 days), smiling & pushing up (2-4 months), sitting & crawling (6-9 months), and standing & walking (9-15 months). We’ll book your session date based which milestones are most important to you and when your baby is confident in that activity.
Session Fee: $250

Your Consultation
This is where we get to know each other and dial in on your vision for the your baby session(s). You are invited to my home studio in northern Colorado Springs where we’ll plan our hearts out, bond over coffee and you’ll get to touch and feel the beautiful albums and portraits I have available. You’ll leave with all of your questions answered, knowing that your baby will be in good hands.

Your Photography Session
Your baby session will take place either outdoors (only for babies who can sit unassisted) or in my Colorado Springs studio. We’ll have a blast for an hour and, while the session will be focused on your little one, I’d love to include your family & siblings in some of the the images. I have a growing selection of props, headbands and outfits for your baby, so you don’t have to worry about a thing. You can sit back, relax and leave it all to me!

Your Big Reveal!
This is the very best part! You’ll see your images for the first time and pick the images and products that you can’t live without. You’ll leave knowing exactly where your images will live, whether on your walls or on your coffee table. No need to worry about them gathering dust on your hard drive, I’ve got you covered.

Availability:
Newborn sessions are held on weekdays at 9:30 am and studio maternity sessions start mid-morning. Outdoor sessions are typically held on the weekends around sunset.
Reservation Fee:
Newborn and maternity are $300. All other sessions are $250.
The reservation fee includes a planning consultation to plan your session together, the session time, use of client wardrobe and props, an ordering appointment, and hair & makeup services (maternity only).
Prints and products are not included in the reservation fee. Any portraits purchased with a print or product include a complimentary matching digital file that is printable to 8x10.

Alexa Kiel Photography studio is located in northern Colorado Springs just off of Northgate and I-25.
