It's hard to believe how fast 40 weeks can go.
When should I book my maternity session?
It is recommended that you book your maternity session as soon as possible. This will allow us enough time to plan your session and make sure we have everything we need in time. Sessions are typically held between 32-38 weeks.
What should I wear?
Alexa Kiel Photography has several maternity gowns to choose from. If time allows and you are looking for a particular color or style, I will do my best to locate a dress to meet your vision. A variety of flower crowns (haku) are also available.
Where are the sessions held?
Maternity sessions may be held in my home studio in Colorado Springs or at an outdoor location in the Colorado Springs area.
Do you include family members to participate in the maternity shoot?
Yes. Spouses, children, and grandparents maybe be included in the session. The session is focused on the mother, but Alexa Kiel Photography believes it is important to also include family if they so choose.
