Pearl City Newborn Photography Session | Teagan

I just photographed the most stunning newborn little girl. Tegan and her parents came into the studio for the newborn session. I couldn't believe how much hair this little girl had.

Tegan and her parents weren't able to join me in studio until she was almost a month old. Her mom was a little concerned about her age, but I reassured her that we could get some good pictures still.

Families do not alway choose to add family images to their session, but I'm always so happy when they do. Look how beautiful this family it.

Here are some final images of this beautiful little girl. I sure hope she comes back for her 6 month and year photos. I love watching them grow.

Studio Newborn Photography Session | Pearl City, Hawaii

Welcome back, my oh-so-amazing blog readers!

Today I'd like you to meet some very special people: baby Gavin and his older brother and sister! Our shoot was triumphantly successful and I am incredibly pleased about the shots I was able to capture!

Gavin's brother and sister are so happy to have a younger brother, and they made that apparent at our shoot! One thing's for certain – baby Gavin will always have someone looking out for him!

As you can see from the pictures, these little ones were so good during the session, and already share such a connection. I can’t wait to see how they interact as they get older!

Gavin has such a beautiful family and is so loved!

I love Gavin's red hair. Here are a few up close images from Gavin's newborn session.

Thanks for reading! Have a fab day!

Doo doo doo doooo! Introducing...  BABY OLIVIA!

I'm still flying high from one of the most wonderful shoots I've had.  The pretty little lady in front of the lens was such a good little sleeper.

Olivia's mom knew she wanted something special for her session. During the pre-session consultation, I found out that Olivia is their rainbow baby. This family finds strength in their faith and wanted to include the bible verse that they felt fit Olivia's arrival.

Okay, no more talking (or would that be typing?). Check out little Olivia for yourself!

Finley's Arrival | Fresh 48 | Kailua, Hawaii

Several days before his due date, Finley made his long awaited debut. His mom and dad couldn't be happier and his big sister was so excited to meet her baby brother. His sister had been preparing for this moment with the book "I'm a Big Sister." How fitting!

I made my way to Castle hospital in Kailua to capture this memorable moment in this family's lives. Baby Finley was born weighing 8 pounds 8 ounces and was 21 inches long.

My favorite part of photographing a fresh 48 session for families is that it captures the moment just as it is. No studio, just the love and the joy of a new addition.

Pearl City Children's Milestone Photography Session | Waimanalo Beach, Honolulu, Hawaii

Glad to see you again, photo lovers!

I'm back again with a session featuring the oh-so-adorable Lilly. I've was lucky enough to photograph Lilly during her first trip to Oahu. Her father is from the island, but they live on the mainland. When they knew they were coming to the island, they contacted me to capture this special moment. They knew they wanted to include images that showed Lilly's Hawaiian roots and wanted the pictures to be taken at Waimanalo Beach Park where her father grew up.

Lilly's mom said that Lilly likes talking, her toes, waiving at people, being read to, the song B-I-N-G-O, and cuddling with mom and dad.

Speaking of Lilly's mom, she did a fabulous job prepping her for this 8 month milestone session. She's practically a pro at this by now!

“Don’t be afraid to ask question or help with finding things if you have something specific in mind for your session. Do research or look up ideas for your session so you have an idea of what you would like. It made my ideas so much more clear and I was able to tell exactly what I had mind or possible ideas,” she advises. Great advice!

Anyway, I'll get straight to it. Check out pictures of little (baby's name) below:

Oahu Maternity Photography Session | Honolulu, Hawaii | Hickam Dog Beach

Hello ladies and gentlemen!

We've got a serious reason to celebrate! Mikie and Shelby are officially having a little princess, due in only a few short days. If that isn't reason to jump for joy, I don't know what is!

I had the honor of photographing Shelby in January at Kamehameha beach otherwise known as Hickam Dog beach and she was just as stunning as can be.

Dad agrees she's a beauty, too – naturally!

As you can see from the pictures below, Shelby was the perfect soon-to-be mom. Any photographer would be lucky to photograph her. And that baby bump couldn't get any cuter!

The proof is in the pictures!

Logan's Cake Smash | Ko'Olina, HI | Paradise Cove Beach

Hi again, everyone!

Logan just turned one! You know what 1-year-old birthdays mean? Cake. And smashing cakes, of course!

On the day of Logan's cake smash, the weather had us all on pins and needles. It was overcast and raining all day. Thankfully, just before his session, the clouds parted and the sun emerged. Logan had his whole family join him for this monumental event. His older brother Jordan was so excited for Logan to smash his cake, but he was also very enthusiastic about eating the cake too.

Before I get to the cake smash photos I know you came here for, I have to share some pictures of Logan before the cake. I cannot believe how adorable he is!

As can be expected when smashing cake, Logan had fun. I know I'd have fun playing in cake!

You do not want to miss these pictures. Check them out below!

Outdoor Family Photography Session | Honolulu, Hawaii

Hello blog readers!

Let me stop for a second to tell you that I am seriously the luckiest photographer in the world. My clients are always so amazing to work with. That's true of my session with the Johnson family, too!

I met up with them on a November evening near their home in Kapilina and the weather was a tad windy, but you wouldn't know it from the fabulous images we were able to get. At the beginning of the shoot, it was still warm with a bit of cloud cover and as the shoot continued, the sun went down which brought cooler weather. While the weather was challenging, it was the Johnson family that made this shoot such a success.

The Johnson family consists of Ryan and Morgan, and their two beautiful daughters Eyerly, and Emmerson. Ryan is in the Army and stationed in Hawaii. He enjoys hiking, volleyball, and is an amazing woodworker. Morgan is a talented quilt making stay at home mom who enjoys baking. Sweet Eyerly love her shoes and Emme likes to be held.

The Johnson's favorite family activity is "going to the park or ocean. We love playing outside as a family" Morgan said.

As you can see from the comments above and the photos below, this family is not only photogenic, but also a close-knit group who clearly love spending time together. Ryan, Morgan, Eyerly, and Emme are lucky to have each other.

Below are some highlights from our session.
